The schedule for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, which will be played in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from 19th February to 9th March, was revealed today by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
With the UAE announced as the neutral venue and the defending champs Pakistan hosting their first global cricket tournament since 1996, the 15-match, eight-team competition makes its maiden appearance on the cricket calendar since the last edition in 2017.
India, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Pakistan will form Group A, where Group B will consist of Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa, in the exciting 19-day competition.
In Pakistan, the matches will be held at stadiums in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi; in the United Arab Emirates, the matches will be held in Dubai. On 19th February, the first day of the Champions Trophy, in Karachi, hosts Pakistan, who will play New Zealand. Other important matches include Afghanistan vs. South Africa in Karachi on 21st February and India vs. Bangladesh in Dubai on the second day of the campaign, i.e., 20th February.
Prior to the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match in Dubai on 23rd February, one of cricket’s most cherished rivalries will take place between Australia and England in Lahore on 22nd February.
The first semi-final is set for 4th March in Dubai, and the second semi-final is set for 5th March in Lahore. The quickfire event brings together the finest of cricket in one spectacular day. The final will take place in Lahore on March 9; however, if India advances, it will take place in Dubai, where the winning team will receive the renowned white jackets.
