The first semi-final of the ICC Championship Trophy 2025 was played between India vs Australia in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on March 4, 2025. Australia elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Australia tried their best and were looking for a huge score, but they could manage to put 264 runs 49.3 overs in 10 wickets. Their captain Steven Smith could add 73 runs when Mohammad Shami bowled him out. The next highest scorer was Alex Carey, who scored 61 runs in 57 balls. Mohammad Shami took 3 wickets, followed by Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja, who took 2 wickets each. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill had tried to give a good start to the Indian side. But Ben Dwarshuis bowled Shubmin Gill at his 8 runs, followed by Rohit Sharma by Cooper Connolly at his 28 runs. The second semi-final of the ICC Championship Trophy 2025 was played between New Zealand vs South Africa in Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on March 5, 2025. New Zealand elected to bat first after winning the toss.

Will Young and Rachin Ravindra started their inning for New Zealand. Rachin Ravindra scored 108 runs in 101 balls. Later, Kane Williamson added another century and made 102 runs in just 94 balls. Due to these batters, New Zealand set a target of 362 runs in 6 wickets. Lungi Ngidi of South Africa took 3 wickets, followed by 2 wickets taken by Kagiso Rabada. On 21st Feb 2025, the third match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025: South Africa vs Afghanistan and the first match of Group B were played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
